Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and guidelines provided by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize food wastage.
Manage time efficiently to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in dishwashing and cleaning duties as required.
Follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Kitchen Assistant or similar role.
Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

The salary range for this position depends on experience and qualifications.
