Responsibilities:

Responsible for completing safety case IP and RP assigned by MHD. Work together with production, technical, maintenance and EHS team to prepare and implement safety case IP and RP accordingly.
Schedule and facilitate PHA (Hazop + LOPA study) for existing facilities. Engage senior management and HOD on the gaps and area for improvement from Hazop study.
Facilitate PHA and risk assessment for MOC and nonregular work i.e. temporary change and emergency change.
Subject matter expert in functional safety and coordinate the implementation functional safety requirement as per safety case requirement
Subject matter expert in human factor for process safety and coordinate the implementation of human factor as per safety case requirement
Facilitate for process safety related incident / near miss investigation. Complete the investigation & analysis report for sharing & learning.
Conduct process safety related training and sharing regularly
Conduct audit to ensure compliance to Singapore SS651 for chemical industry
Monitor process safety performance leading and lagging KPIs
Prepare annual process safety management review in EHS management review for continual improvement.

Requirements:

Possess Degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in process safety in chemical plant facility regulated a major hazard installation (MHI). Previous working experience as process / production engineer will be added advantage
Familiar in safety, health & environment will be added advantage
Good PHA (Hazop) facilitation skill and familiar with PHA software is necessary
Experience in dealing with authority on safety case is required
Good communication, writing and analytical skill
