Job Description
KAT Minerals and Metals Singapore Pte. Ltd is looking for an Operations Manager to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, financial coordination, cost control, and sales support. We welcome candidates with a strong understanding of operations management, basic accounting, and commercial awareness.
The selected candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, supporting financial reporting, and coordinating between sales and finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operational activities of the company.
- Coordinate financial operations including cost control, budgeting, and basic accounting oversight.
- Review and monitor financial records, reports, and operational expenses.
- Support sales activities through pricing analysis, margin tracking, and revenue monitoring.
- Manage invoices, payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain and update operational registers, including low-value consumables and assets.
- Liaise with internal teams and external parties (accountants, auditors, suppliers).
- Assist in financial audits, compliance, and internal control processes.
- Support management in operational planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
Requirements
- Background in operations, finance, accounting, or business management.
- Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge and financial understanding.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Good communication skills and commercial awareness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in operations or finance-related roles.
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software is preferred.
- Experience in trading, commodities, or related industries is an advantage.
