We're looking for a dynamic and empowering Senior Sales Development Manager who will be responsible for leading the Sales Development function across the APAC region.

The role focuses on leadership, development and a high performance culture to execute against our rapid growth goals.


The Opportunity:

In this role, you will have two core priorities: Talent Development & Revenue Development. We view our Sales Development Representatives as the next wave of Account Executives at MongoDB.

A Senior Sales Development leader at MongoDB hires outstanding management talent, who in turn hire, develop and lead outstanding teams.

Your role will be to lead and inspire your teams by creating an inclusive culture where success is inevitable.

You will also be a key asset to our Sales organisations, partnering with regional leaders across APAC.

You will play a crucial role in building strategy, determining how to unlock new territories, and driving revenue into the sales pipeline and talent into the sales organisation.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Strategic business planning and diligent measurement and communication of progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions to lead the overall strategy for Sales Development across APAC.
  • Attracting, hiring, coaching and developing our first line Sales Development managers
  • Creation and implementation of career pathways to ensure strong onboarding, optimised learning and high performance for all team members.
  • Provide weekly team performance summary as well as timely and accurate forecast to senior leadership
  • Develop and nurture a network of senior internal stakeholders, generating new ideas to optimise business performance and develop a successful GTM strategy.
  • Work closely with Field Sales and Inside Sales management to drive increased performance and align pipeline production to our Sales team's needs
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity.

Things You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years experience prospecting and closing as an individual contributor
  • 3+ years experience leading a Sales or Sales Development team with a track record in hiring, developing and promoting
  • Complex enterprise software experience in a comparable company (technical and multi level decision making) a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside and within the organization
