    Description

    Job Purpose

    Manager, Workforce Planning will assist Deputy Director, Strategic Human Resource & Partnerships to develop and execute human resource strategies and initiatives that align with SMRT Trains' organisational strategy and goals. The Manager is responsible for ensuring there is sufficient and sustainable capability and capacity in Trains to meet the organization's future objectives and long-term operational and financial
    goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish, implement, and maintain a continuous workforce planning process.
    • Develop and manage Trains' short- and medium-term workforce plan aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Align Trains' needs with its workforce to meet long-term operational and financial goals.
    • Identify internal and external drivers affecting workforce composition.
    • Determine current and forecast future workforce gaps and develop strategies to close them.
    • Maintain and interpret Trains' workforce scorecard in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Track, develop, and validate business metrics in line with Trains' objectives.
    • Facilitate change management initiatives related to workforce planning, ensuring smooth transitions, and minimizing disruption to business operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to understand their human resource needs and provide guidance and support.
    • Perform secretariat duties at Board, Management, and Key Stakeholders meetings.
    • Provide support to other ad-hoc projects and team members.

    Qualifications & Work Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic, organisational, or human resource planning,or a related field, preferably in a leadership capacity.
    • Familiarity of human resource best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Ability to think strategically and apply critical thinking to human resource challenges andopportunities.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.

    • Positive mindset, adaptable to change in a highly regulated operating environment.
    • Strong organizational and project management experience with the ability to managemultiple priorities, attention to details.

    • Team player with knowledge in areas such as human resources, economics, finance,statistics, organization design, organization development, and organizationalperformance management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Proficient in HR information systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI and other software tools supporting data analysis, visualization, and communication.
