**Job Description (Key Responsibilities):
General

  • Responsible for the technical performance of projects assigned
  • Assist the team leader to maintain and develop the Company's client base by winning clients' satisfaction and trust during the performance of assigned projects
  • Assist in preparation of proposals for potential projects
  • Assist the team leader and work closely with members within the Function Group in relation to the following activities:
  • Project programming, implementation, review, monitoring and management
  • Preparation of disciplinary system designs and reports
  • Demonstrate leadership and enthusiasm to staff within the team and motivate those staff to achieve the performance expected of the Function Group
  • Assist Function Group Leader, Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer, working closely with the regional management team and Sector Director, to broaden and strengthen Arcadis' reputation
  • Carry out duties and functions as directed by the Function Group Leader not specified above

Specific

  • Work closely with Project Manager to prepare action plans, including resources, timeframes and budget for the project
  • Perform various coordinating tasks like schedule, risk managements along with administrative duties like maintaining project documentation, report writing and handling project queries
  • Ensure that client's needs are met as the project evolves
  • Undertake some minor hydraulic designs
  • Assists in other ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Coordinate with the client, subconsultant and design team to:
  • Attend meetings
  • Assist in liaison with QP(D) and QP(S)
  • Assist in liaison with various government authorities
  • Assist in liaison with the Public Utilities Board & Superintendent Officer

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills):

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience
  • An engineering degree in the appropriate discipline
  • Experience in project management from conception to delivery
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step by step action plans
  • Professional and confident approach to working relationships. Team orientated with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and peers
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently when required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, supervisory and client management skills
  • Solid organisation skills including multitasking and timemanagement
  • Demonstrated good presentation and reporting skills
