Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is an international ISO tank containers transportation and freight services provider. Their office at Jurong East is currently looking for a
Logistics Customer Service Officer to join their team.


Salary:
up to $3,000

Work location:
Jurong Gateway Road (near Jurong East MRT)
Work days: 5 Days (8:30am to 5:30pm From Mon to Fri)

Responsibilities:

• In-charge of Import/Export Documentation & Processes.
• Shipping documentation (Import/ LC/ documentation/ Bill of Lading / FTA Agreement).
• Provide customer support for shipments and advise various country customary rules and regulations; provide after-sales support and following up with client till the whole transaction is completed.
• Handling customer enquires or complaints.
• Send all necessary information and documentation to clients / agents / sea companies / forwarders accurately and on a timely basis.
• Liaise and maintain good relations with agents and shipping companies.
• Maintain container inventory control and container maintenance & repair.
• Other Administrative and ad-hoc duties if required.

Requirements:

• GCE O Levels / Nitec / Diploma in Logistics or related equivalent qualifications
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Logistics or Shipping experience preferably in a 3PL environment
• General knowledge on logistics and freight forwarding businesses
• Independent yet a good team player
