Roles & Responsibilities

Role & Responsibility

Configure and install various display devices and software applications (e.g., Signage, Hotel TV) on the devices.
Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrades on existing systems.
Deploy programs and assess user feedback.
Collaborate closely with other Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to comprehend customer systems, diagnose issues, and introduce new features.
Perform system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability.
Install and set up network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Work with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures
Document troubleshooting reports
Provide network engineering support and training to fellow team members.
Understand the software development process.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the display industry or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Demonstrated work experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role within the Engineering department.
Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and collaborating within teams.
Willingness and ability to travel overseas frequently.
Work experience as a SW engineer or SW developer (Java, Linux, SQL)
