- Manage the General Accounting functions for the Singapore office, encompassing purchase orders, cash management, and payroll.
- Collaborate with the Shared Service Center (SSC) for accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor invoices, employee expenses, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
- Primary involvement in IT and Purchasing-related office administration.
- Establishment and maintenance of robust compliance with Corporate policies, local regulations, ensuring sound internal control practices across regional offices.
- Effective coordination with SSC to ensure accuracy and timeliness in accounting and financial reporting activities across the region.
- Management of company secretarial functions to ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping and filings with regulatory authorities.
- Timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory accounts and tax returns for Singapore.
- Oversee internal and external audit engagements.
- Engage as a business partner with regional stakeholders through thorough analysis and reviews of trends, offering strategic recommendations aimed at driving company growth.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 5 years of experience in a similar regional finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in managing teams across multiple regions.
- Experience working in to multinational environments and with Shared Service operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP and SAP Concur.
