Regional Technology Strategy and Operations Lead - Singapore - LIBERTY INSURANCE PTE LTD

- Lead and support strategic initiatives and projects within the Region and Markets.
- Help build compelling stories and presentations to influence senior leadership across the organization.
- Coordinate and lead creation of strategic and tactical Technology Financial views in coordination with Global Tech Finance Team.
- Support the annual Technology strategy and planning exercise in conjunction with market, regional and global Technology leadership teams.
- Create and improve monthly, quarterly, half yearly and ad hoc regional leadership reporting by coordinating with the individual markets.
- Coordination with the market project managers and vendor teams to ensure that the status of projects assigned is kept up to date.
- Support in adoption of new Technology frameworks and methodologies by working with the market CIOs, their direct reports, and global teams.
- Act as a point of contact for any queries related to IT reporting and project governance regionally by working with the Global IT Strategy & Planning team.
In this role you will:
- Work with several stakeholders in Technology & Business teams across the local markets, region and Liberty's global presence.
- Identify and recommend appropriate continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work across cross cultural teams within Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, India, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand) and with our HQ in US requiring you to be flexible and open.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- A thorough grasp of PMO concepts, technology initiatives, project management tools and technical standards—typically acquired through 10+ years of related experience.
- Experience working in a high paced, global environment with a multilanguage, multigeography, multicultural context.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- A collaborative, adaptable working style, demonstrated initiative and the ability to prioritize your time and efforts.
- Ability to balance the longterm "big picture" and shortterm implications of decisions.
- Project Management certifications desirable but not essential.
