    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain the project schedule in order to manage efficiently the time and commitments of the projects
    • To develop, monitor and review equipment and manpower deployment plans for construction works
    • Responsible for developing and updating the various stages of pre-construction and construction programs to Project Management team
    • To perform monthly/weekly/daily project progress reporting activities
    • To provide information and assist in the analysis of claims utilizing schedule information and capabilities of the scheduling system to provide accurate picture of construction activities and events
    • To define the specific activities taking into consideration the Master Project Schedule, as well as labour, material and equipment availabilities throughout the length of the project
    • Review actual weekly progress which include the Actual progress S-Curve & Manpower Histogram compared to the approved Baseline
    • Plan and forecast work schedule of weekly, monthly work and set productivity to be achieved
    • Maintain Baseline Schedule, and update current schedule periodically and analyse the effect of any proposed changes and any additional activities in the project, using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software
    • To monitor the progress of projects with the mindset to continuously improve, reassess and improve planned schedules in accordance with site conditions and contractual obligations. Update and propose changes to the management especially in the event of any schedule variances
    • Take periodic walk around at the project site to check actual work progress and also take progress photo for file and presentation to the management
    • Any other duties deemed necessary

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
    • 3-5 years Project Planning experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Industries
    • Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software of P6 operating expertise or knowledge of Microsoft Project software and MS Office
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Experience in analysing, report writing and preparation
