Contract 6-months (Renewable Basis)

Role Overview:
As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, including transactions, payroll, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

AR : Issue sales invoices, record sales receipts, sales reconciliation etc.
AP: Record vendors' invoices and preparing vendors' payments etc.
Handle bank reconciliation.
Responsible for employee claims and reimbursements processing.
Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation.
Preparation of monthend closing with accounting schedules.
Maintaining accurate and uptodate financial records and statements.
Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
Preparing and analyzing budgets and financial forecasts.
Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial information.
Assisting in the planning and development of accounting and reporting processes to ensure compliance.
Collaborating with the Human Resources team to align financial management and employee records and benefits.

Requirements:

At least 5 years relevant experience in finance or accounting preferably in a financial control or auditing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant legislation.
Proven ability to interpret financial information.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Experience in the broadcast or media industry preferred.
Strong understanding of tax compliance, corporate tax, withholding tax and GST.
Bilingual in both English and Chinese is a must as frequent liaising with stakeholders from China and Taiwan
