Roles & Responsibilities

Description:

Responsible for the quality assurance efforts, ensuring that solutions meeting the highest standards before release.

Responsibilities:

Create details, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, and test cases.
Conduct hands-on testing.
Liaise with developers to ensure a thorough understanding of the solutions and to ensure that user needs are met.
Oversee the tracking of bugs and issues, ensuring they are prioritized, tracked, and reported.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Research and implement new tools and technologies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in testing.
Analyse root causes of defects and implement steps to reduce occurrences in future releases.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of solutions.
Report regular to management on project progress and potential risk relating to QA.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience in software quality assurance.
At least 5 years of direct work experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Junit, TestNG etc.
Knowledge of various software development framework such as Agile, SCRUM etc.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
