Key Job Accountabilities:

• Oversee all aspects of engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations for the Commercial Engines Business Unit
• Product portfolio includes CFM56 and LEAP engines used in narrow-body aircraft
• Drive operational excellence ensuring engine on-time delivery, contractual TAT (Turnaround Time), cost control, productivity, and safety & quality compliance
• Plan engine build schedules, allocate manpower and resources to meet monthly engine delivery commitments and customer expectations
• Manage engine revenue hours to meet productivity ratios and profitability goals
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and aviation authority regulations (CAAS, FAA, EASA, etc.) and OEM requirements
• Promote a strong safety culture and coordinate EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) matters
• Lead cross-functional customer focus teams; liaise with Sales, Customer Support, Materials, and Engineering teams for optimal execution of engine maintenance programs
• Provide leadership and mentoring to a production team of Workshop Engineers, Service Engineers, and Technicians
• Build a self-driven, versatile production team through cross-training and skill development
• Champion continuous improvement, Kaizen, digitalization, and automation initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce cost

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Production or Workshop Manager in the aviation industry
• Knowledge of gas turbine engine MRO and workshop best practices is advantageous
• Familiarity with aviation authority regulations including CAAS, FAA, EASA, and CAAC
• Proven leadership skills with a record of achieving operational targets
• Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to collaborate across various operational levels
