Description

As a Lead, a typical day would include:
Oversee and lead the Operations teams across various functionalities which cover policy servicing, business support, billing and UAT support.

Work with team manager(s) to motivate and provide guidance to team members

Lead in change management and make well-measured decisions for process improvements

Work with different stakeholders within the company and regional office to ensure timely and smooth implementation of any new initiatives/projects

Mentor and work closely with the SSU team to ensure process quality

Track and monitor teams' performances in accordance with established performance measures and benchmarks

Ensure the teams complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks and reports with quality

Provide regular reporting to management on the teams' service level and quality

Identify operations gaps and implement resolutions

Regularly review and update the team's Standard Operation Procedure

Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Operations and Regional Consumer Operations Lead as necessary

Qualifications:

What you will need:

Minimum Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience in insurance sector.

Proven successful track record in leading teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Mature, independent, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Be a proactive, assertive, results driven individual who is able to work under pressure

Effective change management skills and experience

Strong team player and a good people leader; ability to engage and work well with a diverse group of colleagues and inspire team members.

Experience in policy registration/underwriting and accounting systems is preferred

Knowledge with SQL and database analysis is an advantage

Possess a CAN DO attitude to achieve a win-win outcome.
