Roles & Responsibilities

Job Advertisement: Demand Planner

We're seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping material flow throughout our supply chain. As a Demand Planner, you'll be responsible for creating an unbiased demand plan with the highest accuracy possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and apply market intelligence to the demand plan from various sources, including sales, marketing, key accounts, and EDI.
• Manage demand planning exceptions and forecast performance metrics to ensure accuracy and address forecast error.
• Participate in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, focusing on aligning the demand plan with the business plan.
• Manage product life cycle aspects, including new products, end-of-life, and phase-in/phase-out.
• Maintain data integrity in the demand planning system and recommend optimal forecast consumption parameters.
• Plan intercompany requirements and provide oversight for the global demand plan to ensure integrity.
• Support Supply and Production Planning organization and Business Group LSS initiatives through data analytics and continuous process improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service, or Marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service, or Marketing.
• Experience in Demand Planning and knowledge of Supply Planning (SP), Production Planning (PP), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
• Analytical skills and proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working on cross-functional and international teams.
• APICS certification and experience representing the supply chain organization on business teams.
• Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies.
