WHAT YOU'LL DO:


As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) within BCG's Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Area, you will own and drive defined, TMT activities or processes, supporting the delivery of our key practice initiatives.

A core part of this role is to interact directly with PA leadership in several areas including analysis and insights, meeting preparation, regional and global leadership sessions, and affiliation efforts.


BCG's TMT Practice works with leading players and disrupters in industries such as consumer tech, software, media and telecommunications to make sense of the changes transforming their industries, define winning business models suited to the new competitive environment, and implement those models in ways that create competitive advantage.


Analysis:


Support our leadership agenda across the PA with strategic analysis and insights across planning, revenue and performance, ad-hoc strategic analysis and budget definition.

Your analysis will support affiliation retention, pipeline planning and other people analytics (e.g. DE&I)


Events:

Drive core elements for the end-to-end planning and execution of large events (e.g. Global and regional PA meetings, Worldwide Officer Meetings, Leadership offsites etc), including concept shaping, agenda definition, content preparation, external speaker liaison, budget definition and analysis, and on-site management.


Cadence:


Support the smooth running of overall PA including supporting Leadership for key processes and to implement selected global initiatives with GPMED and TMT leadership.


YOU'RE GOOD AT:

  • Interest in and aptitude for analysis; demonstrating expert mastery of the full suite of PA related, technical and quantitative skills/tools
  • Structuring and interpreting data using Excel, drawing conclusions for leadership based on your own analysis and capturing your recommendations on easytounderstand output materials (e.g. presentations)

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):


Qualities include:


  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical skills (e.g. for business and people analysis tasks) and a structured way of thinking and communicating
  • Advanced knowledge MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, followthrough, with a very high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, highenergy, cando attitude and friendly communication style
  • Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
  • Professional, serviceoriented, proactive and flexible attitude
  • Ability to multitask and operate effectively in a matrix organization

YOU'LL WORK WITH:


You will drive this agenda working as part of the TMT PA Management Team and directly supporting the Practice Area's Leadership, including our Global PAL and Global PA Executive Director.

These activities will be done in close collaboration with the Global Finance Senior Manager, as well as Global People Director and other PA team members.
