About the role

As a fractional CFO with SmeCFO, you will work directly with SME founders and CEOs on financial strategy, planning, reporting, compliance, and banking relationships. You will collaborate with leadership teams to drive sound financial decision-making across their businesses.

Responsibilities

• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
• Support financial planning and analysis efforts
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Manage relationships with banks

Qualifications

• Strong finance-based analytical skills
• 7 to 10+ years of finance experience
• CPA or MBA preferred but not required
• Experience working with SMEs or founder-led businesses is a plus
