Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Your main duties will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

This is a vital role within our organization, as you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our supply chain.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of products received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming goods for damage or defects.
  • Prepare and organize products for storage or shipment by labeling and categorizing them appropriately.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and store products safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by updating systems or manual logs.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory counts.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
  • Ensure that all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and documented.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and quality control.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting inventory.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays, if required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to adhere to them.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
