    You will be a part of HPB's is responsible for engaging educational institutions to establish supportive health promoting environments and policies, implement programmes and engage key stakeholders to ensure that children and youth in Singapore are in optimal health for holistic growth, learning and development.

    Child and youth health areas of interest include nutrition, physical activity, mental wellness, tobacco control, communicable diseases and HIV/AIDS prevention.

    The Education Institutions Department drives the growth of meaningful and successful partnerships with the schools, planning and implementing health promotion programmes to nudge children and youths towards healthy. The team is also entrusted to build good ground understanding of the schools, analyse the needs, develop creative approaches and programmes, manage key relationships to increase mindshare for health promotion, and efficiently organise resources to implement, review and improve HPB programmes.

    Scope

    As a key member of, you'll have to be comfortable to put on many hats.

    You will be responsible to review and strengthen suitable and engaging outreach engagement strategies aimed at raising the children and youth's awareness on a range of health issues with relevant and meaningful student-centric propositions that will nudge and sustain students' journey of lifelong healthy habits.

    You will forge effective and valuable partnerships with relevant stakeholders and industry to grow mindshare in promoting health promotion programmes among the schools.

    You will gather strong ground intelligence and analyse health data to identify relevant needs of the schools to influence and strengthen evidence-based programming. Through this, to leverage trends and opportunities for growth areas that can further contribute to HPB's mission and develop strategies to direct resources and efforts towards such areas

    You will manage multiple concurrent project implementation, ensuring clear project planning and commitment by partners, timely and efficient execution, and effective continuous improvement in achieving optimal programme performance management.

    You will co-plan, co-implement and evaluate health promotion strategies and activities with stakeholders.

    What an ideal candidate looks like

    An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least at least 3 years working experience preferably in project and account management. You will have strong problem solving, networking and influencing skills. The candidate should also possess:

  • Good analytical, inter-personal, persuasive writing and verbal communication skills and exhibiting strong political sensitivity.
  • Able to multi-task and handle concurrent projects; works well in a fast-paced environment effectively and independently as well as in team-based arrangements
  • Adaptable to changes, proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, collaborative, self-motivated and a strong desire to excel.
  • Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, with ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Able to work independently, and to lead/participate in peer/matrix teams where required.
