    Job Description

    MISSION
    The primary goal of the Physical Education Teacher is to help students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet the standards of the French Physical Education and Sports programs.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Teach Physical Education to primary school students
    • Design and implement learning or teaching situations according to French programs and standards
    • Develop assessment methods for student learning, collaborating with other educators or partners
    • Ensure students acquire essential skills, attitudes, and knowledge
    • Lead the class, stimulate students' interest and engagement
    • Provide personalized support to students, collaborating with families and participating in their educational journey
    • Contribute to teamwork and school activities
    • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring inclusivity
    • Use technology to enhance learning

    SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Proficiency in French
    • Valid teaching qualification (Master's, PGCE, PGDE, CRPE)
    • Experience teaching sports at kindergarten and elementary levels
    • Background in swimming and climbing instruction
    • Preferably, experience in international or foreign schools
    • Familiarity with the French curriculum
    • Ability to adapt, show benevolence, and excellent communication skills
    • Strong teamwork, project involvement, and IT proficiency
    • Skills to engage both Francophone and non-Francophone students
    • Capability to provide tailored instruction to diverse students
    • Ability to work across disciplines

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Full-time position
    • Salary based on qualifications and experience according to the company's scale
    • Starting date: End of August 2024
    *Former IFS employees can only apply 3 years after leaving IFS*
