    Job Overview:

    We are actively seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Manager with expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to lead our dynamic team of software architects, engineers, and test professionals. As a key leader in our organization, you will play a key role in overseeing the development and testing processes, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collaborating with global teams, extensive cross-region development experience, a deep understanding of SAFe principles and software development, and the ability to drive agile practices within the development lifecycle.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a diverse global team of software architects, engineers, and test professionals, including contractors.
    • Implement and champion SAFe principles and agile practices within the development lifecycle.
    • Oversee the architectural design, development, and testing of software solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to senior architects, architects, and software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
    • Collaborate closely with teams across different regions to ensure effective communication and coordination.
    • Define and implement best practices for coding standards, scalability, performance optimization, and testing methodologies in a global context.
    • Work with project managers, product managers to establish realistic timelines and deliverables, considering the challenges of cross-region development.
    • Assess and mitigate risks, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in a global team setting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • Min 15 years of experience in software development, with a focus on managing global teams in a leadership capacity.
    • The job title will be considered based on past years experience for the position.
    • Proven experience in implementing and practicing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
    • Strong knowledge of software architecture, development, and testing processes.
    • Experience with C++ programming on Windows and proficiency in COM/DCOM/ATL is advantageous.
    • Extensive cross-region development experience and understanding of global team dynamics.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Chinese speaking, reading, and writing skills are a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to provide technical leadership, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
    • Demonstrated experience managing contractors and collaborating with diverse global teams.
