As a Assistant Manager, Surgical & Specialist Services, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversee the operations of assigned service points, ensuring efficient and seamless service delivery.
• Manage daily front-line operations, administrative functions, and operational matters while collaborating with Nurse Managers and key stakeholders to address system and process challenges.
• Partner with department leaders to enhance patient experience throughout the care journey.
• Ensure facilities are safe, accessible, and patient-centric.
• Support departmental leadership in meeting customer satisfaction goals.
• Drive service innovation and implement initiatives to continuously elevate service standards.
• Develop and execute business plans with clinical leaders to achieve clinical, volume, and financial targets.
• Lead annual budgeting processes, conduct regular financial reviews, and identify opportunities for service expansion and new business development.
• Supervise a team of non-nursing staff across service points, including performance management and appraisals.
• Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention to build a competent and motivated workforce.
• Foster open communication between staff and management, ensuring timely information flow, issue escalation, and solution development.
• Participate in organisational committees and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Undertake rotational assignments to other operational areas after three years to broaden organisational exposure.

Requirements:

• Degree in any field of studies.
• At least 3 year of relevant working experience.
• Prior experience in clinical workflows and hospital operations will be advantageous.
