Head of IT Security Engineering - Singapore - PINPOINT ASIA INFOTECH PTE. LTD.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Regional IT Security Engineering team in developing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions to safeguard the bank's IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Regional CISO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and technical expertise in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT security engineers.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in executing security initiatives effectively.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT security engineering strategy aligned with the bank's overall security objectives.
• Identify emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that security solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for the bank's IT systems and networks.
• Conduct security reviews and assessments of infrastructure components, applications, and services.
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for security enhancements.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to address security incidents effectively.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes, including identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Work closely with internal audit teams and external regulators to demonstrate compliance and address audit findings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within IT Security Engineering or Cybersecurity.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, etc.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
