Description

• Permanent Role with AWS and Variable Bonus

• Entry level - NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma

Responsibilities:

• Written and verbal instructions to safely and efficiently operate plant equipment, manage site services, and handle vehicle loading/unloading, with variations in responsibilities across sites.
• Propose safety and efficiency enhancements, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and implement improvements, and communicate effectively with production teams and other site functions via verbal, email, and written channels.
• Prioritize health and safety, adhere to site-specific standards, conduct risk assessments, comply with permits, and report incidents promptly, understanding the repercussions of negligence.
• Routine operational decisions are made independently, while non-routine ones typically require consultation with supervisors.
• Planning and organizing work and materials, facilitating shift handovers, training new hires, performing maintenance tasks as per site requirements, conducting analytical testing as needed, and responding to emergencies are also part of the role, which may involve participation in site emergency response activities beyond regular hours in some cases.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Process Technology
• NITEC or higher NITEC in chemical/chemistry related course are welcome
• Willing to perform 12 shifts
