Description

Implement, update, and maintain the effective execution of Food Safety (ISO 22000), Quality (ISO 9001), HACCP, Organic, and Halal Management Systems, along with PRP prerequisite programs at the plant, certified by third-party bodies.

Support operational functions, addressing incoming quality, managing production deviations, and troubleshooting nonconformances to ensure products comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement using the 7 QC tools for troubleshooting, problemsolving, and identifying root causes of nonconformities arising from suppliers, operations, internal/external audits, and customer/consumer complaints.
Ensure adherence to CCP, OPRP, and Quality Control Points, coordinating nonconformity processes such as product holds, reinspection of rework/disposal of stock, and final disposition conclusions.
Internally and externally raise Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for nonconformances and complaints, overseeing the timely closure of complaint investigation reports and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Liaise with government agencies/certification bodies (SFA, HPB, MUIS) regarding product registration or plant certification information.
Design and conduct trials on a plant scale, validating test protocols for new products, packaging, and equipment.
Establish, update, and manage product formulation and specifications, reviewing and verifying nutritional information, sensory aspects, and shelf life for new and market products.
Evaluate and review the acceptability of raw materials/packaging from new suppliers.
Promote crossfunctional collaboration within the company and establish partnerships with suppliers and customers to address quality and food safety issues in ingredients, materials, products, and packaging.
