As part of our growth in APAC, Tanzu Business Unit is looking for a dynamic Account Director to lead Tanzu Solution sales.

This is a Strategic Sales role that will make an important impact on our business in ASEAN.

Tanzu Account Director will drive Tanzu Solutions sales and generate revenue, within existing accounts and with new logos.

This will be achieved by working closely with the wider Broadcom Software sales eco-system and support Solution Engineering team, to deliver account and territory planning, forecasting and field-based sales activities to ensure success in generating revenue opportunities and effective management and closure of sales cycles.

Interacting with C-Level and VP-Level Executives, you will be driving the digital transformation strategy for our Strategic customers. You will work closely with existing and new customers.

Each customer may have a different entry point for their journey with Tanzu solution, but you will play a vital role in developing the plan to help our customers drive the outcomes they desire and gain the most benefit from our process and software.

Some responsibilities in this role may include:

  • Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by our products and services and lead them through the evaluation and buying process
  • Maintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accounts to expand consumption and drive new use cases at the account
  • Work with other Sales Executives, Accounts Directors and Platform Architects to drive Tanzu Products and Services value proposition into our Strategic accounts
  • Interface with regional sales leadership for account planning and GTM
  • Forecast revenues timely and accurately; Increase revenue/ retention rates for specified key accounts
  • Represent Tanzu with integrity, maintain an industry credibility, prospect for new business, and establish and strengthen relationships through presenting to various audiences

Required-Desired Skills / Experiences:

  • 10+ years of experience selling SaaS / Software solutions to Enterprise Customers in the financial services industry and other industries in ASEAN
  • Consistent high performance against sales quotas driven by C-Level and VP level relationships at key customer contact
  • Experience using a consultative or advisory based sales approach in a complex enterprise sales environment
  • Innovative and creative thinker who can work independently and leverage resources wisely to meet objectives
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and Application Lifecycle Development Processes in large enterprises
  • Proven ability to assess and disqualify customers/opportunities under minimum guidance and high pressure
  • Driven to assist customers in making the right decisions which will drive the optimal outcomes even if it results in elongating the sales cycle
  • Values and practices empathy with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to communicate complex issues at a high level
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and forge strong business relationships with individuals in Broadcom internal and external ecosystem
  • Flexible to travel within ASEAN region
