    THE COMPANY

    Richemont Luxury Singapore is a fully owned subsidiary of Richemont and is the platform on which some 14 Maisons conducts operations in Singapore and coordinates their business for the whole South Asia: 6 direct markets (Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, New-Zealand and Vietnam on the top of Singapore) and export wholesale markets in ASEAN.

    THE POSITION

    Based in Singapore, the Head of FP&A oversees the financial monitoring of South-East Asia and Oceania (SEAO) business performance with key focus on the annual budget, rolling forecasts, strategic plans, monthly actuals reviews, investment requests and cashflow management. The Head of FP&A is also pivotal in maintaining the highest level of compliance in Maison operations.

    This position reports to the FP&A Associate Director, Richemont SEAO and is part of Cartier Regional Executive Committee. The position is acting as a key contact with Cartier HQ Finance based in Geneva and is a senior leader of the Richemont FP&A community of APAC and SEAO driving FP&A initiatives, promoting best practices and elevating professional competency of the Finance function.

    The position manages 1 direct report in Singapore and 3 dotted-line controllers based in Australia, Thailand and Malaysia.



    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



    1. Safeguard the assets and resources of the Maison by maintaining the independent view of Finance in business decisions and prioritisation of resource in a context of cost optimisation
    2. Owner of Cartier budget and forecast processes for SEAO, key contact between Maison HQ and the 6 markets (SG, AU, NZ, TH, MY and VN), to drive financial planning and monitoring of targets and KPI. Responsible for accuracy of markets reporting
    3. Monitor business and cost trends across markets, analyse financial impacts of budget/ forecast deviations, and recommend corrective measures
    4. Drive insightful analysis and financial visibility to enable strategic and operational decisions (e.g., investment decisions such as CAPEX and Marketing & Communication expenditures)
    5. Maintain the high-quality reporting & controlling toolset and deliverables leveraging on high proficiency in digital solutions and continue while further streamlining across the region
    6. Promote financial discipline within the Maison teams, ensure quality of the financial forecasts and compliance of corporate finance policies
    7. Collaborate with the FP&A Associate Director and Market FDs on recruitment, retention, and development of FP&A team members
    8. Support cross-Maison FP&A initiatives by bringing functional efficiency and elevating the quality of reporting and financial monitoring

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

    • A university degree graduate
    • With significant years of relevant working experience in the field of finance controlling, audit and accounting.
    • Experience in leading small teams or in senior single contributor roles
    • Strong business partnering skills with commercial stakeholders (market managing directors and various commercial departments)
    • Work experience in matrix organization is highly valued; experience in retail industry is an advantage
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with SAP and ANAPLAN is a strong asset
    • Good understanding and experience in BI applications (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) can make the difference
