    Description
    Job Summary

    This role involves driving Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting continuous improvement across various sites. The successful candidate will work closely with site operations and EHS staff to achieve this goal.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform a wide range of health and safety compliance duties including equipment and facility permitting, auditing, authorization approvals, record keeping, and reporting.
    • Ensure EHS programs and management systems are in place in alignment with Corporate EHS requirements to minimize risks to employees and the environment.
    • Conduct training for employees on EHS best practices and provide hands-on training assessment.
    • Investigate accidents or incidents, analyze data, and specify corrective action using 8D, FMEA, PHA, and other investigation methods.
    • Review and report EHS progress and performance based on established metrics to site management.
    • Provide onsite support for office/lab expansion projects and perform risk assessments.
    • Track and trend EHS related legislation and ensure compliance with requirements.
    • Communicate EHS issues to management and employees and remain knowledgeable of EHS best practices.
    • Interface with internal stakeholders regarding EHS issues and work with cross-functional teams to accomplish goals.
    • Coordinate Emergency Response Teams and conduct Fire and Safety site inspections.

    Requirements:
