Senior Business Operations Specialist

Fixed term contract
Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We're looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the tech industry.


As the Senior Business Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our client's senior leadership in APAC to ensure the organization's efficient operation and the achievement of strategic goals.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization has the strategic communication, decision-making tools, and processes in place for clarity of direction and success.


Role:

  • You'll be responsible for translating and drafting company strategy into clear, engaging internal communications.
  • Empowering and supporting senior leaders by crafting impactful presentations and reports for business updates.
  • Spearhead key meetings (QBRs, team retreats) and curate strategic forum agendas to ensure clear communication and followthrough.
  • Develop frameworks for clear decisionmaking and efficient information flow.
  • Optimize the regional marketing team's operations and planning processes. Contribute to strategic resource allocation.
  • Work with leadership to navigate budget scenarios and build strong justifications.
  • Manage a prioritized calendar of initiatives aligned with overall strategy.
  • Partner with analytics teams to set, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze results to drive datadriven decisions.
  • Become a trusted advisor, collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams like finance, HR, and content partnerships.

You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, or a similar role, preferably 2+ years of experience in technological industry or deep understanding of the technological landscape
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to varying audiences.
  • Experience in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment
  • Longterm strategic thinking balanced with nearterm execution skills; ability to take complex data and distill them into meaningful insights and a coherent story
  • Familiarity with tools for project management and performance analytics.
  • Passion for the web video/videosharing ecosystem and digital culture. Understand videosharing platforms, its creators and identify opportunities to celebrate the creator community
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong project management experience and a demonstrated ability to drive multiple projects to completion.
  • Proactive selfstarter with the ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems.
  • Comfort with data analysis and experience translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects across APAC.
