    Description

    Royal Ocean Marine is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced maintenance engineer to join our client's team. As the Senior Facilities / Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Facility / Maintenance Manager in overseeing all manufacturing operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient production processes. You will work closely with the production team to optimize productivity, improve quality, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Facilities / Maintenance Manager in managing and leading the team to meet targets
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality control measures
    • Monitor production schedules and resource allocation to optimize efficiency
    • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to processes
    • Manage and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
    • About 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Those with more senior experience will be considered for assistant manager.
    • Experience in manufacturing or engineering /automation companies will be added advantage
