  • Drives account sales
  • Maintains a superior level of current clinical knowledge
  • Demonstrates expertise in the BMS selling model to deliver persuasive messaging
  • Probes customers to gain clinical insights
  • Uncovers account and territory influence networks and decision drivers to efficiently and effectively deliver behavior change across the account and overcome access barriers with hard to reach customers
  • Ensures account interactions are well coordinated across functions
  • Maintains and expands patient access in key accounts
  • Understands the patient types and affordability dynamics as well as hospital, government, competitor, and third party patient support schemes
  • Develops account level strategic access and pricing proposals and supports them with sound insights and analysis
  • Masters account and territory stakeholder and influence networks to be able to implement relevant pricing/access programs in partnership with customers at the account level
  • Develops and executes business plans
  • Utilizes market, customer, and competitor insights to formulate territory and account plans
  • Delivers account strategy, tactics, and investment proposals that will drive patient access, access to customers, and delivery of the sales targets
  • Ensures cross-functional input and alignment in the development of plans
  • Applies customer mapping and process analysis to identify key decision-makers, influencers, stakeholders, and patient and funding flows within defined accounts
  • Applies detailed mapping and analysis to understand customer networks, interactions and decision-making processes within and across accounts
  • Develops account tactics to deliver on business plan objectives
  • Continually develops awareness of healthcare industry dynamics, trends, competitors and customers
  • Ensures business objectives are met in full compliance with laws, regulations and BMS standards of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Position Requirement:

  • Undergraduate (studies in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical or related discipline is a plus) or higher degrees
  • Min. 3 years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience (or key account management experience), Dermatology area is preferred
  • Experience and relationships with key accounts in Dermatology (non-cosmetic)
  • Strong track record in sales and key account management
  • Proven high level of clinical disease and therapeutic area competence
  • Demonstrates ability to clearly convey clinical knowledge and persuasive messages to customers
  • Ability to create a business plan and a compelling case for investment
  • Knowledge of the National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry in Singapore
  • Ability to implement innovative partnerships with complex accounts
  • Experience in marketing is a plus
