    Roles & Responsibilities

    A.Job Summary

    You will report to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for monitoring Caregivers Alliance Limited's (CAL) income and expenses to create and evaluate financial reports. Your role involves preparing invoices & budget and liaising with auditors. You will also support the management of accounting activities, bank reconciliations, payable and receivable accounts. These efforts contribute to CAL's ability to deliver on our vision and mission to reach more caregivers.

    B. Job Duties

    • Support implementation of financial policies to guarantee operational efficiencies
    • Assist in preparation and planning of budget
    • Handling full set of accounts including billing, payments, AR and AP management
    • Support month-end reconciliations and reporting
    • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve issues
    • Process AP and expense claims
    • Respond and resolve queries on donation and payment matters
    • Update donation database
    • Handle statutory tax compliance matters and queries from IRAS
    • Manage payroll
    • Assist to coordinate with auditors, banks, government authorities, and ensure conformance to all statutory requirements
    • Assist in general administrative and management support work
    • Perform other related functions that may be assigned

    C. Requirements

    • Bachelor of Commerce or Accountancy/ Diploma in Accounting/ Other Accounting qualifications
    • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with full set accounting. Experience in the social service sector and/or basic understanding of local statutory requirements and charity accounting is also preferred
    • Good understanding of principles of accounting, as well as knowledge in reporting and financial processes
    • Meticulous, responsible, and independent
    • Possesses positive work attitude, is proactive and eager to learn
    • Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in written and verbal English
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks will be an advantage
