Atala PRISM by Input Output Global (IOG) is a self-sovereign identity (SSI) platform and service suite for verifiable data and digital identity built on the Cardano blockchain.

It offers the core infrastructure for issuing Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs), alongside tools and frameworks to expand the ecosystem.

As a Software Engineer in Test in the Atala PRISM team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the platform through test planning, test case development, test automation, defect tracking, and test results reporting.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and identify potential risks.

With a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle, you play a key role in development projects and are responsible for defining, tracking, coordinating, and conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.

DutiesCollaborate with product management, project management, and development teams to develop testing objectivesReview and analyze system specificationsDesign and implement testing scenarios and scripts to address business and technical use casesUse existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functionExecute automated test suites and analyze test resultsDesign and execute performance testsParticipate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive toward root cause identification and resolutionDocument, track, and escalate issues as appropriateSupport production deployment of applicationsSupport technical services as escalation points for reported bugsKey CompetenciesA strong understanding of SDLC.The ability to lead and inspire a QA team, fostering a culture of quality throughout the development process.

Expertise in designing and implementing effective test strategies, including automation frameworks and tools.
