Royal Ocean Marine is a leading headhunting / recruitment agencies company in maritime industry, looking for a QHSSE Manager to join our client's team an offshore shipping companies. This is a key position that will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive quality, health, safety, security, and environmental (QHSSE) program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in improving QHSSE performance and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

As a QHSSE Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, overseeing risk assessments, and implementing control measures to prevent incidents and accidents. You will also be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to employees, ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a QHSSE program that complies with all applicable regulations and standards
• Identify potential hazards and carry out risk assessments
• Implement control measures to prevent incidents and accidents
• Develop and implement emergency response and crisis management plans
• Conduct investigations into incidents and accidents, and develop recommendations for corrective actions
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees on QHSSE matters
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incidents, accidents, and audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, maritime studies, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the maritime industry
• Strong understanding of applicable maritime regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
