    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Collect, validate, and manage ESG data from various internal and external sources. Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant reporting standards and frameworks.
    • Analyse ESG data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Prepare regular reports and presentations that effectively communicate ESG performance relevant parties. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve the SMF's Sustainability-As-A-Service (SAAS) Programme.
    • Collaborate with the SAAS team to develop sustainability roadmaps, solutions, and consultancy services based on data-driven findings.
    • Stay updated on evolving ESG reporting standards and frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and local regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance and align ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting practices with these frameworks.
    • Develop and implement robust data quality assurance processes, including data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization's ESG data strategy, including data collection methodologies, tools, and systems. Collaborate with IT and data teams to optimize data collection, storage, and reporting processes.
    • Conduct research on ESG trends, best practices, and industry benchmarks. Benchmark the organization's ESG performance against peers and industry standards. Provide insights and recommendations to improve ESG performance and disclosures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as sustainability, environmental sciences, or data analytics.
    • Strong understanding of ESG concepts, reporting standards, and frameworks.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar software.
    • Familiarity with ESG databases and reporting platforms.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and their application.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
