Description

Primary role is to promote the PA through the development and implementation of integrated communications plans and expand PA's communications network to enhance the delivery of intended messages to the right audience.

Conceptualise and implement integrated communications plans for PA/GROs, with a focus on strategic communications and media relations.
Identify publicity opportunities, craft messages that resonate with our audiences and manage communications issues.
Monitor, analyse news and anticipate issues in mainstream and online channels which may affect PA and recommend appropriate responses.
Engage media regularly to build good relations such as arranging for media lunches.
Assist the Assistant Director to carry out daily operations relating to media management such as vetting daily media bites on PA/GROrelated news to PA staff. Alert relevant divisions on feedback in the media and recommend followup action.
Work on media pitches and maintain media updates and contacts of reporters.
Work with social media team and Marcomms to increase publicity on alternative platforms.
Assist Assistant Director to craft, review and develop standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency in PA's corporate image.
