What the role is

  • As the Corporate University of the Home Team, the Home Team Academy seeks to enable officer's learning and improve the Home Team Department's training through enhancing leadership development, skills transformation, Continuous Training and Education, and driving Home Team integration. Our training transformation efforts develop welltrained officers who successfully contribute to MHA's mission of keeping Singapore safe and secure and support the Home Team's transformation efforts.
The Centre for Human Capital and Smart Campus Transformation (CHCT) focuses on:
i. Implementing transformational projects under HTA's Technology-Enabled and Digitalised HTA Masterplan 2025; and
ii. Driving organisational transformation through people development.


What you will be working on

  • The incumbent will be responsible for conceptualising and developing smart campus projects leveraging technologies to achieve our smart campus vision by 2025.
Project Management
i.

Conceptualise plans to design, develop and implement new learning technologies to transform and/or enhance digital learning spaces and smart infrastructure.

ii. Understand user requirements, formulate concept of operations, seek budget approval and handle procurement.
iii. Manage internal project teams, stakeholders and multiple vendors to ensure alignment of expectations and successful project implementation.
iv. Coordinate User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to ensure functionalities are developed according to the stated requirements.
v. Anticipate, identify and mitigate potential project risks and derailers to ensure adherence to the project schedule.
vi. Provide timely project updates to management.
vii. Conduct after-action-review for continuous improvement in management of projects.
Change Management
i. Work with business owners to identify change management strategies customised for different groups of stakeholders.
ii. Assess the impact of change on the organisation and affected stakeholders and strategize appropriate interventions.
iii. Plan and execute comms and change management plans for different stakeholder groups to facilitate their transition.
iv. Drive the sustained use of new systems through communications and publicity.


What we are looking for
- i. Minimum 2 years' experience in system project management

iii. Possess strong analytical and organizational skills
iv. Self-motivated and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
v. Excellent communication skills in engaging different stakeholders
