Description

We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Information Technology Services team.

The role involves:

Design, build and support of Databases onpremises and in the Cloud
Design and build framework for monitoring and managing cloud operations; recommend performance improvement based on demand and utilization
Monitor and optimize the cloud computing demands
Plan, coordinate, and manage projects related to enterprise databases and data warehouse, potentially also data lakes
Design, implement and operate databases in Azure public cloud
Emphasis will also be placed on adopting database segregation, security and encryption, and data residency topics in onpremises and in the cloud.
Database query and store procedures optimization.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Security, or Systems Engineering
At least 5 years' experience in Database administration, focusing on Microsoft SQL databases as a core.
Experienced in design, implementation and operations of SQL databases in enterprise environment
Experienced in analysing and optimizing database query language and store procedures
Strong cloud knowledge and technical knowhow in Azure SQL Managed instance, Azure App Gateway and Azure Data Lake will be preferred, including experience in modernization of onpremises database stacks into Azure SQL PaaS services.
Excellent communications skills, the ability to convey information to stakeholders in a way that is meaningful and that achieves the desired outcome.
Ability to analyse situations rigorously, logically, and systematically
Experience in servicelifecycle management products and services
Ability to contribute in continuous improvement of processes and services.
A proven track record ensuring the proper functioning of operational services
Understanding of, and practical experience with, ITIL processes
