Job Description:
The Carpenter will have a vital role in our daily operations, responsible for creating event backdrops, decors, and supporting the team in event setup and logistics. This position demands flexibility as some of our tasks involve events that may require irregular hours, but we offer compensatory time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize woodworking tools & equipment at the factory or event site for fabricating event items.
- Assist in event setup, including stage assembly, booth setup, and equipment arrangement.
- Fabricate various carpentry items for events such as tables, cabinets, shelves, walls, acrylics, and drywall.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient logistics coordination during events and daily operations.
- Perform general warehouse tasks like loading/unloading goods and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures consistently to maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous carpentry experience is essential.
- Experience in driving commercial vehicles is a bonus.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist with logistics and carrying event items.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings as required (compensatory time off will be provided).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Working Hours:
- 5.5 to 6 days per week.
