Responsibilities

• To produce and direct quality programmes of various genres as assigned
• To lead production teams – creative staff, crew and cast - in the studio recording, outdoor filming, editing, packaging and post-production processes and other aspects of productions
• To work out production schedule and deliver packaged programmes within timeframe
• Responsible for management of work within production budget given
• To contribute ideas and contents for story developments, treatment and script discussions
• Responsible in ensuring high standard and maintaining high quality of programmes
• Responsible in tracking of usage and payment of creative services packages, facilities, crew and talents for productions
• Responsible for casting and managing talents and performers
• Assist Executive Producer in planning and budgetary of productions

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Media or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience in television and related productions.
• Strong interest in television and media.
• Able to speak, read and write good Malay for business purpose.
• Good knowledge of studio production, field and post-production procedures.
• Strong leadership qualities
• Proficiency in editing and field equipment and facilitation required.
• Ability to write television scripts is advantageous
• · Ability to manage different levels of teams – creative, crew, talents and performers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and public.
• Ability to work independently.
