Roles & Responsibilities

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

Evaluate, propose and specify appropriate technologies and IT architectures with the aim of achieving business objectives

Identify system improvement to ensure information quality, security, availability and accessibility.

Manage a team of IT personnel; as well as external consultants in implementing various projects from requirement gathering, conceptualizing through to implementation and post implementation support.

Responsible for the hardware installation, maintenance, network monitoring, capacity planning and technical support to LAN, WAN, Network Management tools, Firewalls and other communication systems.

Plan, design, install and commission new network equipment and applications.

Ensure that the network is stable, secure and running with minimum downtime.

Implement effective back-up strategy for data preservation and disaster recovery to support, enhance legacy systems and provide training and support.

Review, update and formulate IT policies and ensure policies are closely followed.

Review user access matrix and control with proper documentation.

Leads, formulates, develops and executes the organization technology strategy and give direction in the technology organization in the development of strategic applications.

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
