    Vice President, CDD.The role is integral to the execution of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process for high risk rated customersThe job holder must demonstrate strong KYC CDD and financial crime/anti money laundering knowledge but also be invested in the building up of knowledge within the WPB KYC teamThe role holder will also be responsible for team performance outcomes, providing clear guidance to the WPB Business Approvers relating to KYC case approvals and interface with 1st and 2nd LOD on risk review & audit findings and escalations as requiredManage the performance of Management Information (MI) metrics, agreed KPIs and (internal) customer feedbackDevelop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practiceThe role holder will possess excellent influencing skills and the initiative to proactively forge strong stakeholder relationshipsExperience in managing a team of CDD managersBe a key driver in the implementation of Financial Crime Risk.

    Working with FCRM & KYC Ops colleagues to ensure that the highest standards are maintained with minimal loss/reputational damageManage and escalate risks and issues relevant to activities allocated as appropriateRequirements

    A Bachelor's degree or with equivalent industry/functional experience - Professional FCR certification (e.g. ACAMS, ICTA) will be considered favourablyFunctional experience needs to be minimum of 2 years' experience in reviewing customer risk profiles to ensure they meet the AML/Sanctions/KYC requirementsPrior Experience in working on High Risk, Special Category Client, High Net worth customer profiles and/or similar Enhanced Due Diligence related roles e.g. Account Opening is an added advantageGood business and operational experience – Quality candidates are likely to have strong relationship management, Risk or operational skills and are 'Change-Friendly'Min 3 years in banking frontline or related experience (e.
