Location: West, Dover (Nursing Home)

Main Responsibilities

• Support and assist the nurses in the delivery of nursing care in the wards and helps to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for them.
• Execute ADL tasks eg feeding, showering, transferring, pottering of residents in the ward.
• Take on responsibility of ward safety and cleanliness in wards.
• Assist in therapy and Social activities.
• Support Volunteers coming to do activities with residents.
• Perform simple assessments of resident's well being and clinical status (vital signs measurements) under supervision of Nurses and MSW/ Care coordinators.
• Help Care coordinators to manage the residents' activity calendar.
• Attend to needs of the residents.
• Accompany residents for their outing trips.

Main Requirements

• Certificate in basic nursing care is advantageous.
• Preferred shift can be given, subject to discussion upon offer.
