Primary Objectives of Position

· Assist Snr/ Engineer in the managing of contractors to ensure the implementation and smooth handover of NRFF Class E SPLRT S&C projects.

· Ensure the installation work and testing does not have any impact on the operation.

Major Responsibilities

· Ensure the proper applications and records of activities, TAR, PTW and Fire Alarm isolation are carried out by the contractors.

· Ensure the installation works are carried out in accordance with the approved construction drawings.

· Ensure proper documentation and completed records are kept for future audit, such as proper filing and updating of all manuals, and drawings.

· Participate in the T&C to ensure the system performance is met.

· Ensure all defects and punch-list are rectified.

· Lead and motivate the team to meet the deliverables.

· Perform appraisal for staff under your management.

Specific Safety Responsibilities

· Ensure contractor conducts toolbox briefing prior to any undertaken task and adhere to all safety regulations.

· Ensure only registered contractor are allow to carry out the installation work in a safe manner and valid relevant certification for the work type

· Ensure that any unsafe practices are reported and corrected accordingly.

· Ensure contractor performs housekeeping and normal maintenance able to be carried out safely.

Job Specifications

Minimum Education / Qualifications

· Possess a recognized Poly Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication / Computer/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

· Preferably at least 3 years of working experience in Signalling or Communication.

· Knowledge of IT software application MS Office.
