    Roles & Responsibilities

    Our Singapore office is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance Team

    This role will be reporting to a Financial Controller with the following roles and responsibilities:

    1. To supervise and advise on the day-to-day book-keeping and accounting procedures.
    2. To ensure that the monthly corporate reporting packages are timely, accurate and reliable.
    3. To improve and implement effective systems of control.
    4. To improve and implement accounting processes.
    5. To monitor the cash flow and forecast cash requirements.
    6. To monitor the debtors' position and the necessary administration to ensure effective debt collection and credit controls.
    7. To prepare cost analysis and implement cost controls.
    8. To analyse internal reporting metrics for provision of business insights for management
    9. To give guidance to the activities of your subordinates through personal standards which you create in your everyday work and through effective planning, organizing, and controlling of their activities.
    10. To ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annually financial statements are prepared and submitted to the Corporate on time.
    11. Ensure adequate training is provided for personnel within the department.
    12. Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.

    Competencies

    • Ability to work independently and with initiative.
    • Previous experience working in an accounting/finance department or equivalent.
    • Experience with internal controls and liaising with external auditors.
