The school is looking for a Part-Time Therapy Assistant to work under the direction and supervision of the resident OccupationalTtherapist.
Occupational therapy assistants are care professionals who work under the supervision of occupational therapists in a school setting to help clients in the paediatric population The occupational therapist will assess a client and prescribe a treatment plan.
An Occupational Therapy Assistant supports the occupational therapist with:1) Therapeutic activities
2) Encouraging clients and ensuring they are doing their therapy exercises properly
3) Teaching clients how to manage their treatment program
4) Documenting a client's progress as required by the occupational therapist
