    Roles & Responsibilities

    As the APAC Travel Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing the travel policy for our company which include duties such as setting up travel budgets, negotiating rates with travel agencies, monitoring of travel activities.

    Our APAC region includes 9 countries - Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Korea, Australia, Malaysia.

    Ideally, you should have a strong working knowledge of travel management processes and excellent attention to detail. You would also be skilled at maintaining positive relationships with airlines and hotels and at providing a smooth travel experience.

    Key duties and responsibilities

    • 2nd level support on Travel & Expense (key access to Concur for anything country based)
    • Main contact for the Travel suppliers (Travel Agency locally, lodge card supplier, Concur, Airlines, hotel/service apartment vendors, Visa operator (CIBT).)
    • Key contact for the Global Travel Manager and Global Purchasing to improve global contract, service to travelers locally
    • Referent for his/her scope in global meetings on Travel & Expense
    • Responsible for Implementation and communication on global contract and policy
    • Approver (Tracking/Monitoring) of unusual bookings and non-compliant bookings, flag to HUB CEO (with the full support from Hub CEO)
    • Responsible for main KPI on his/her scope (anticipation, non-compliancy ratio, total spent per category, fares..)
    • In charge of contract with Airlines, local hotels and service apartments for all SCOR APAC
    • Key contact for local referents on process, service and savings optimization locally
    • Administrator for specific profiles (guests) and roles (assistants, accountant..)
    • In charge of unreconciled invoices with Airplus LARS files and approval in Concur
    • Organize Concur T&E training to new joiners and refresher trainings to existing employees
    • Assist Hub MD to monitor unusual trips and report to Hub MD when such incidents occurs
    • Assist Hub MD to ensure the staff adhere to Global Travel and Expenses Policy

    Required experience & competencies

    • Have at least 5 years of related working experiences in similar positions.
    • Prior APAC experience is preferred.
    • Need to have strong experiences dealing with airlines and hotel services.
    • Strong preference for someone who is well connected with the airlines and hotels in the Asia Pacific region.
    • Need to have strong communication skillset in negotiation, in dealing with people in all walks of life.
    • Good spreadsheets & reporting skillset as an important and necessary traits.
