    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Headquartered in Singapore, Keppel operates in more than 20 countries worldwide, providing critical infrastructure and services for renewables, clean energy, decarbonisation, sustainable urban renewal, and digital connectivity.

    The ideal candidate should have proven experience with past subsea cable systems, strong sense of ownership and passion for defining and driving large cross-functional programs in the infrastructure and networking space. He/ She should be self-driven, have the ability to learn quickly and influence decision-making across organizations. In this position, the candidate will work closely with various Keppel business units to gather, refine and drive program goals to deliver various submarine cable projects. He/ She will have the opportunity to implement new processes and procedures for a relatively new team while interacting with various stakeholders across Keppel.

    • Provide leadership and direct all aspects of engineering, projects and operational activities
    • Drive and implement engineering strategies and processes to meet business objectives and operational needs
    • Oversee all aspects of projects and ensure project completion within timeline and budget
    • Set strategic objectives for the global operations framework and manage the implementation
    • Ensure that Health, Environmental & Safety standards are adhered to.
    • Contribute to overall business strategy

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 10 +years program management experience, preferably on a global scale otherwise regional level
    • Experience in delivering large cross functional international programs and driving milestones
    • Submarine program management and/or technical experience as an operator in a leadership role
    • Knowledge of Asia Pacific internet ecosystems, fiber optic networks, submarine cables
    • Experience driving and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience interacting with senior executives and other management within a company and working across commercial, technical, domestic, and international arms of an organization
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, prioritization abilities, and an excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
    • Knowledge of and be familiar with the operation and deployment of optical transport systems
