Our client is a trader of essential commodities such as iron ore, steel, copper, etc. The company makes strategic investments in cutting-edge ventures.

Currently, they are actively seeking an experienced and competent Risk Manager to join the prestigious organization to lead and manage the risk team.

- 【 What you will be doing 】

Led and managed the Risk Team to provide coverage across Market Risk, Credit Risk, Ops Risk
Improve risk framework to ensure good governance of the company's business activities
Close coordination with all stakeholders to manage company policies and procedures
Supports stakeholders with risk input and analysis, and provides consultation on all risk matters
Identify and escalate risk/limit breaches and provide support in the resolution of key findings
Ensure strict compliance with internal controls/requirements with guidance from the head office
Ensure daily/regular risk reporting requirements are conducted with accuracy and efficiency
Keep abreast of industry regulatory changes and requirements
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Requirement:

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related Business discipline.
Minimum of 58 years in Market Risk Management, have relevant experience in commodities trading
Fluent in both speaking, listening and writing in Mandarin and English for seamless communication with the Beijing office.
Comprehensive knowledge of commodities trading, including market data, and pricing/revaluation techniques.
Proficient understanding of financial markets, encompassing cash and derivative products.
Proficiency in the valuation and analysis of both physical and financial derivatives is essential.
Analytical thinker with the ability to identify nuances in data.
Proactive mindset, always anticipating potential risks and devising strategies to mitigate them
